Refund Policy

Sound World Green Bay

At Sound World Green Bay, we stand behind the products we sell. However, due to the nature of audio equipment and the risk of product misuse, our return and refund policies are designed to protect both our customers and our business.

Return Eligibility

Returns may be accepted within 7 days of delivery for eligible items that meet the following conditions:

  • Item must be unused and uninstalled

  • Item must be in original packaging

  • All accessories, manuals, and hardware must be included

  • Item must show no signs of installation or mounting

Items that have been installed, powered, modified, or used are not eligible for return.

Non-Returnable Items

For quality control and fraud prevention, the following items are non-returnable once opened or installed:

  • Subwoofers

  • Speakers

  • Amplifiers

  • Electrical wiring kits

  • Custom enclosures

  • Clearance or special order items

If a product has been installed or shows signs of installation (including mounting marks, wiring marks, or enclosure wear), the return will be denied.

Serial Number Verification

Many products sold by Sound World Green Bay are tracked by serial number. Returned items will be inspected to confirm that the serial number matches the product originally shipped.

Returns containing different products, swapped components, or altered serial numbers will be refused.

Damaged or Defective Items

If a product arrives damaged during shipping or appears to be defective out of the box, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

We may request:

  • Photos of the packaging

  • Photos of the product

  • The serial number

In many cases, defective items will be handled through the manufacturer’s warranty process.

Restocking Fee

Approved returns may be subject to a 25–35% restocking fee depending on the condition of the returned product.

Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.

Items must be securely packaged to prevent damage during return transit.

Refused Returns

Sound World Green Bay reserves the right to refuse any return if:

  • The product has been installed or used

  • The item is missing parts or packaging

  • The serial number does not match our records

  • The product has been tampered with or modified

Refused returns may be sent back to the customer at their expense.

Chargeback Fraud

Fraudulent chargebacks will be disputed with supporting evidence including:

  • shipment tracking

  • delivery confirmation

  • serial number verification

  • return inspection documentation

Customers who attempt fraudulent returns may be restricted from future purchases.
